Doing the washing up to pay for your dinner in a restaurant is no longer just a dad joke, it’s a real thing (sure that won’t stop them making it, though). At Mirai Shokudo in Tokyo, you can have a delicious meal in exchange for a 50-minute shift in the kitchen, which we can all surely agree is a bargain (if we ignore the cost of return flights to Tokyo).
