LET US VOTE FOR QUEEN

#So, Prince Charles has apparently told his household that he wants Camilla to be given the title Queen (Mirror, March 10). Someone ought to inform him the days of kings doing as they wish are long gone. I suggest he considers giving the public the opportunity to let him know how we feel about the issue – a simple yes/no vote would work.

He should then accept the people’s decision, but if he can’t he can please us all by doing the decent thing and abdicating. That would mean that he would be letting William be King with Queen Catherine. Now that would be fabulous. Phil German, Aberdare, Mid Glamorgan
