Jenkins is hit by car raid at charity night
KATHERINE Jenkins had her car broken into as she attended a charity night.
Raiders emptied the boot after smashing the motor’s back window.
The opera singer, who is expecting her second child, had been due to sing at the event but was hit by a heavy cold and gave a short talk instead.
She said on Twitter: “I’ve been battling a nasty cold virus so couldn’t sing.
“I can’t take any medication due to pregnancy but offered to go to make a little speech.
“Returned to find everything taken from the boot, even though it was all hidden from view.”
Jenkins, 37, and film director husband Andrew Levitas had daughter Aaliyah Reign in 2015.
