I’ve been using a messenger bag from Australian brand STM for years. But the Kings is a two-shoulder rucksack that’ll carry all your tech gear and everyday essentials safely and securely. It’s got a 22-litre storage capacity with a quilted interior lining and space at the back for a 15-inch laptop.

There are a couple of zipped side pockets for water bottles as well as a small pouch on the front for quick access. Two neat features make this a great choice for carrying your tech. First, the laptop slot is suspended inside the bag – protecting it from impacts, leakages and other calamities. Second, there are tiny ports between the sections of the bag that allow you to run charging cables throughout, clipping them onto hooks stitched into the side. It comes in a choice of green, blue, brown or grey and has become my first choice bag for day-to-day use.
