FAR HAS CLAS TO TRIUMPH

- BY DAVE MITCHELL

AS if Gordon Elliott and Gigginstown Stud haven’t done well enough already this week they are certainly the team to follow on the final day.

Our main interest lies with their horses from our list to follow beginning with FARCLAS in the Triumph (1.30).

He lacked the experience of Mr Adjudicator when the pair met at Leopardstown last month.

But the winner was having his 14th career start compared to Farclas’ third, so it’s surely fair to expect the grey to have more improvement in him.

He’s the best of a strong Irish team in a modest turnout for the juvenile championship.

Field size isn’t a problem in the Albert Bartlett which features 20 horses.

Paisley Park went onto the list after running second to Mr Whipped at Warwick but it’s the smooth-travelling DORTMUND PARK who gets the vote.

He has been neglected in the market after finishing weakly in a small field last time, but will get more cover here.
