Townend opts for Killultagh

PAUL TOWNEND admits it was a difficult decision to desert Total Recall for Willie Mullins’ stablemate Killultagh Vic in today’s Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Townend, who will replace the injured Ruby Walsh, said: “The two horses have huge chances.

“I had a chat with Willie and Ruby and that’s the decision we’ve made.”
