Fox fails with US steel talks

INTERNATIONAL Trade Secretary Liam Fox failed to save British steel from US import taxes last night.

His talks with US trade rep Robert Lighthizer barely touched on steel.

Donald Trump said he would spare allies from his 25% tax. Each year we send £360million worth of steel.

Labour’s Chris Leslie, of Open Britain, said: “Dr Fox is already being taken for a ride by US negotiators.”
