FRANCE PUT THEIR FAITH IN POGBA

-

PAUL POGBA has been backed to emerge from his slump by France coach Didier Deschamps.

Manchester United’s £89million midfielder (below) has been less than impressive since returning from suspension in December.

Pogba has suffered illness, injury and been dropped by Jose Mourinho. But Deschamps has picked him for friendlies against Colombia and Russia, and said: “No player can be at the top of his form for 10 months. Perhaps Paul’s having a tougher time – it’s been a while since he had one. It doesn’t change what I think of him.”
