CAR’S GOT CUP DRIVE

-

CARLOS CARVALHAL’S hit out at critics who say Swansea are not serious about the FA Cup.

The Welsh club are in a relegation battle but will face Tottenham for a place in the cup semifinals for the first time since 1964.

Despite resting various key players in previous rounds the Portuguese boss (above) insists the FA Cup is important to the club. He said: “I have never put out a weakened team, we protect players with small injuries and problems and we will do the same here.

“We will not take risks, we will not change anything. We’ve players who may not play too much but that is because others are doing well. We will do our best and if we win it will be fantastic.”
