The London Eyerish

THE London Eye glows green as the capital marks St Patrick’s Day.

And the Natural History Museum’s blue whale skeleton was having an identity crisis as it was turned an emerald hue by Tourism Ireland.

More than 250 global landmarks are illuminated as part of the worldwide Global Greening campaign to mark the annual Irish celebration.

Also lit up are the GatesheadNewcastle Millennium Bridge, the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow and Emirates Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
