ROJO MAN IN MONEY AT UNITED
KEATES IS BACK IN THE SADDLE
MARCOS ROJO has been handed a new, improved contract with a pay rise at Manchester United – until at least 2021.
The 27-year-old defender has impressed under Jose Mourinho after moving to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon four years ago.
Rojo (right), whose progress was halted by a knee injury last April, returned to make 10 appearances this term but has been sidelined since early February.
The Argentina international, who has signed a deal until 2021 with the option of a further year, said: “Since I joined Manchester United, it has been everything I thought it would be – and more.
“When I joined, my aim was to help the team win trophies and we’ve done that.”
