EDDIE HOWE says Lewis Cook is the type of player he loves.

Bournemouth midfielder Cook was given his maiden call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad this week.

And manager Howe said of the 21-year-old (left): “It’s an historic moment in his life. He was with the squad last time, but this feels different as he has been named officially.

“I am just really pleased he has got the recognition his performances deserve. He is one of the players that always wants to do more, which is the type of player I love.”
