FARKE’S ROYALS JOLT

-

NORWICH boss Daniel Farke is shocked to see rivals Reading battling against relegation.

Farke (left), whose side face the Royals today, said: “At the start of the season I would have said Reading would be fighting for promotion, not relegation.

“I still believe they are a really good team, maybe one of the best in the Championship.”

But Reading manager Jaap Stam admits he has been giving his players the hairdryer treatment after becoming fed up with their dismal run.

Stam said: “I’m not very calm with them. I can’t do anything about my position. I am fed up with losing.”

New Plymouth recruit Paul Paton stands by for a debut but Sonny Bradley is out. Ollie Clarke (knock) is a doubt for Rovers.
