CLOUGH: FOUR WINS TO SURVIVE
NIGEL CLOUGH has set Burton a target of four more wins to stay up.
Albion reached 52 points last season and survived by a point – but Clough (right) thinks it will take far less this time around.
His side are second-bottom on 30 ahead of today’s trip to Wolves. “We were thinking 47 or 48 points a few weeks ago,” said boss Clough. “Now we’re probably talking three or four wins and a couple of draws.”
Wolves beat Reading 3-0 in midweek after a 4-1 thrashing by Aston Villa. “We’re pleased they had a game to get Villa out of their systems,” added Clough.
