Showing our Will to Harry the Russians

If you want to see how reduced a power Britain has become, look no further than the punishments we’re handing out to Russia for poisoning people on our soil.

We’ve threatened to seize some of their assets if we can get our hands on them, we’re kicking out a handful of diplomats, the Tories are keeping hold of all their oligarch’s donations – and the big one: we won’t send Princes William or Harry to their World Cup.

In other words, a communist country that hates royals so much it shot their own more than a century ago will not have the honour of bowing and scraping to the descendents of that family’s cousins.

That’ll show them, eh?
