Whirlpool told to show steps

-

WHIRLPOOL has been told to explain steps taken to tackle risks blamed for tumble-dryer fires.

MPs demanded the firm reveal what it has done to combat alleged faults which have sparked at least 750 fires since 2004.

MP Rachel Reeves, of the Commons Business Select Committee, said: “Whirlpool must show progress is being made to address the serious safety concerns.”
