‘Best buddy’ parents rap

PARENTS should stop trying to be their child’s “best buddy”, an expert warned.

Instead they need to set limits on kids’ behaviour, said former headteacher Martin Stephen.

He also said not to blindly defend them as “they need to learn actions have consequences”.
