BATTLING CHERRIES PUZZLE AKE

-

COMEBACK kings Bournemouth’s latest turnaround left Nathan Ake in two minds. The Cherries came from a goal down to beat West Brom and make it 16 points won from losing positions this season. That is the highest tally in the league and defender Ake said: “Yes, that’s our character. Everyone knows that when we are down we still haven’t lost the game. “It’s a bit both ways – you don’t want to be down like that so that you have to come back but also we always believe.” Ake (left) admitted Bournemouth sensed West Brom’s heads dropped after Jordon Ibe’s equaliser, adding: “Their defensive shape was good so it was a bit of a blow for them.”
