Labour: We pin poison on Moscow
LABOUR toughened its stance over the spy poisoning yesterday as John McDonnell pointed the finger at Vladimir Putin.
Jeremy Corbyn has come under fire for failing to say the Kremlin was behind the attempted assassination.
But the Shadow Chancellor said “whichever way you look at it”, Putin “is responsible and all the evidence points to him”.
He said: “The PM is right, Russia’s to blame, so now we’ve got to build... the international coalition that takes effective action.”
He added: “There’s a pattern of people being murdered, therefore it leads you to the conclusion Putin has questions to answer.”
