REDS JOIN RACE FOR BELLERIN

- BY JOHN CROSS

MANCHESTER UNITED have entered the race for Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.

Juventus are leading the chase and are favourites to land the Spain right-back.

But United made discreet inquiries and asked to be kept informed of any developments.

Gunners fans are likely to be unhappy about another of their players leaving for Old Trafford after losing Alexis Sanchez to United in January and Robin van Persie in 2012.

Bellerin (above), 23, was a Barcelona target in the summer but Arsenal refused to let him go. Manchester City were also keen before opting for Kyle Walker.

It is understood Juve remains the most likely destination as Bellerin may not be keen to join another Premier League club. MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE TRIGGERED A ONEYEAR OPTION TO RETAIN ASHLEY YOUNG FOR ANOTHER SEASON
