Addicks in for Kewell
AN Australian consortium trying to take over Charlton aim to appoint Harry Kewell as manager.
They want the ex-Leeds, Liverpool and Australia star, who is in charge of League Two Crawley, to replace current boss Karl Robinson.
Addicks owner Roland Duchatelet is in takeover talks with two groups.
The Aussie consortium, impressed by Kewell’s work at Crawley, want him in charge even though Robinson has taken Addicks to within sight of a play-off place.
Kewell played for Liverpool in the 2005 Champions League final.
