Make Marc in Euro tilt Foxes
MARC ALBRIGHTON says Leicester must aim to qualify for the Europa League via the top flight after they exited the FA Cup. The Foxes were eliminated by a 2-1 extra-time loss to Chelsea at home on Sunday. The club, who have never won the FA Cup, missed out on a semi-final at Wembley against struggling Southampton. An error from keeper Kasper Schmeichel allowed Chelsea winger Pedro to head in the winner. But with Leicester eighth, three points behind Burnley in seventh, Albrighton says they can still salvage something from the season. He reflected: “We’re frustrated because we deserved a lot more. We dominated for large parts of the game and a lapse of concentration let them in. “It does feel like an opportunity missed. “But our target now is seventh place, we’ve got to take that form and desire into the league.” Leicester return to action at Brighton on March 31.
