The Beeb is creating four new BBC1 dramas as it competes with rivals for bingeable shows. Gold Digger is a six-parter about a family’s struggle with an age-gap romance, Dark Mon£y is a four-part drama about a dad who accepts hush money for a crime against his son. The Capture is a six-part conspiracy thriller and Elizabeth Is Missing is a 90-minute adaption of a novel about dementia.
