Lollywood kids’ scary pay rises...

-

THE child stars of Netflix drama Stranger Things are to become millionaires with the third series of the sci-fi hit.

They earned around £14,000 per episode for the first two series, which is hardly horrific.

But that deal was signed before the supernatural show, set in the 80s, became a global hit.

Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, both 15, Caleb McLaughlin, 16, and Noah Schnapp, 13 – AKA Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will – are now poised to make around £178,000 an episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Adult stars such as Winona Ryder, 46, will pull in the biggest wages, of up to £250,000. Brit actress Millie Bobby Brown, 14, considered the breakout star as Eleven, is reportedly on more than male co-stars after renegotiating separately.

She is earning around £214,000. Netflix declined to comment.

Filming for series three starts next month. It will jump ahead a year, introducing new evil forces.

Co-writer Ross Duffer has said: “We have an end goal. We’re not quite sure how long it will take to get there, but we do have a plan.”
