CHASE ON AS BLUES EYE TOBY

CHELSEA have joined the chase for Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld. The Blues are ready to move in for Spurs’ contract rebel, who has been left out of the side by Mauricio Pochettino, despite being fit. Chelsea are looking to overhaul the playing squad and, along with the Belgium defender, 29, (left) are also tracking other players with expiring contracts, including Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey. Alderweireld has two years left on his current contract, but Spurs won’t give in to his demands for a new £150,000-a-week deal. Manchester United and PSG are keen on the Belgian, who has a £25million release clause for the summer of 2019.
