Brit men are 3rd fattest in world

BRITAIN’S obesity crisis has been flagged up in a study showing UK men are the fattest in Europe.

They are third flabbiest globally, weighing an average 13st 3lb, beaten only by Americans and Australians. Health brand Forza Supplements compiled the figures using government data. Forza boss Lee Smith said: “One in four British men is obese and obesity levels have trebled in the last 50 years.

“The challenge is how to ensure the positive benefits in public health are not destroyed by our love of food and drink.”
