Storey with a happy ending

PEOPLE living in bungalows are the nation’s happiest home-owners.

More than half (51%) say they are very happy with their single-storey home, according to Sarah Beeny’s estate agent Tepilo.com.

It was followed by those in detached homes (41%), semi-detached homes (37%) and flats (34%).

Overall, 88% said they are either happy or very happy with their home.

Ms Beeny said: “Owning a home is a real source of happiness for most.”
