is planning to plonk its Maybach badge on the next GLS luxury SUV to give the company a rival to Bentley’s Bentayga and the most expensive versions of the Range Rover.

The Mercedes-Maybach SUV will be shown in mildly disguised form at next month’s Beijing motor show, which makes sense because China will be the car’s biggest market. We’ll then see it with the wraps completely off at the Los Angeles show in November.
