E-CIG TESTS ARE CRUEL

Your recent piece “E-cigs link to liver disease” (Mirror, March 19) reports research involving exposing mice to high levels of nicotine. This would have caused suffering to the mice and the results can’t be translated to people.

Mice are not miniature humans, so researchers should stop hurting and killing innocent animals and concentrate on nonanimal based research.
