JORDAN PICKFORD is winning the battle of the England keepers.

Everton’s Pickford and Stoke’s Jack Butland will both be given a chance against Holland and Italy.

But Gareth Southgate is leaning towards starting Pickford in Amsterdam.

That would be a major boost for him in the scramble to be England’s World Cup No.1 in Russia.

The Three Lions boss has been impressed by Pickford, 24, in training – especially his distribution.

It is a four-way fight with Joe Hart and Burnley’s Nick Pope also in the frame.
