Slippers join in tech drive
CAR giant Nissan has created slippers that come when summoned and park themselves in neat rows.
The Japanese firm’s programmable prototypes, with motors and wheels in the soles, use the same technology as its Leaf car.
They are in use at a hotel in Hakone, near Tokyo.
Nissan said: “The selfparking slippers are meant to raise awareness of automated driving technologies and their potential non-driving applications.”
