SAINTS boss Justin Holbrook has backed his pack to overcome the loss of England star Alex Walmsley with a serious neck injury.

Holbrook said: “It does leave a hole in the side.

“He’s the best front-rower in the comp but I am still confident the squad will step up and the players won’t miss a beat. We’ve got young guys itching for a chance.”
