COOK’S CAP WORTH £17K

LEWIS COOK’S grandfathe­r will scoop a £17,000 windfall if the Bournemout­h midfielder makes his England debut tonight.

Trevor Burlingham placed a £500 wager on his grandson, 21, (above) winning a senior England cap before his 26th birthday just as he was breaking into the Leeds United first team as an 18-year-old back in 2014.

Trevor got his bet on at 33-1 in his local William Hill shop in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
