Kids ‘rely on foodbanks’

FAMILIES with children make up half of those that take donations from foodbanks, a study reveals.

Seven in 10 families who rely on help from the Trussell Trust are looking after their young ones, Sheffield University found. Authors called on the government to help by raising benefits.
