THE FLAW SHOW

I watch Joshua v Klitschko every day.. it shows me his weaknesses brags Parker

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

JOSEPH PARKER claims he’ll use Anthony Joshua’s finest moment to mastermind his downfall.

Parker plays Joshua’s epic Wembley win over Wladimir Klitschko on a continuous loop when he trains at David Haye’s gym in south London.

Although Joshua stopped Klitschko to unify the WBA Super and IBF belts, Parker feels he showed flaws he can exploit when they clash at Cardiff ’s Millennium Stadium a week today.

“We have that fight playing in the gym every day in training,” said the unbeaten WBO heavyweight king.

“Joshua trained very hard for that fight, so did Wlad. But we saw a lot of other things in that fight which we can catch Joshua with.”

Parker, minus his goatee beard and sporting a Peaky Blinders cap, was relaxed as he spoke yesterday at his base overlooking Westminster.

He showed as many faces as Big Ben – in one breath saying he respects Joshua and in the next taunting him.

Joshua hopes to be around a stone lighter than the 18st 2lb he weighed for the Carlos Takam fight in a bid to be more mobile.

But Parker said: “If he actually trusted his body he wouldn’t be trying to change who he is. He’s trying to be leaner, faster. I don’t know if he’s trying to be him or me!

“I’m going to be a lot lighter. In the last fight we were 112kg, maybe for this fight 108.

“I’ll be better. Faster, stronger, better movement, I’ll show everyone.”

The 26-year-old, who is 24-0 with 18 stoppages, aimed another jab at Joshua, branding him “boring” and claiming he rarely says anything interesting. The Kiwi said he is pleased Joshua reportedly said he doesn’t like him because it shows he is getting under his skin.

“He’s stepping out of his comfort zone,” said Parker, who beat Hughie Fury in his last defence. “He’s been boring lately. But now he’s taken the first step and maybe he will say a bit more.”

Parker accused Joshua, the red-hot 1-8 favourite, of not taking him seriously because he is constantly talking about fighting WBC champ Deontay Wilder.

“They are looking past me,” he said. “He needs to be careful because there is one guy in his way – me!”

Parker said he has been sinspired by New Zealand’s dismissal of England for just 58 runs in the first innings of the First Test.

He would love to do a similar number on Joshua and smiled: “That’s a good sign. That’s a good start.”
