SWANSEA IN BID TO KEEP KING
SWANSEA want to sign Leicester midfielder Andy King permanently – if they beat the drop. The Swans took the Wales midfielder, out of favour at the King Power, on loan on deadline day. King, 29, has since made four appearances, scoring once, as Carlos Carvalhal’s Swansea have climbed to 14th. Now the Welsh club are looking to tie him down permanently this summer with fellow central midfielder Ki Sung-yueng set to quit on a free and crocked Leroy Fer possibly out until Christmas. The Foxes are likely to demand up to £6million for ex-trainee King (above), who played 388 times over a decade.
