‘May is selling off UK passport jobs’
JEREMY Corbyn condemned Theresa May for “selling” UK jobs by giving a French firm the new blue passport contract.
The £500million deal with Gemalto puts 200 UK jobs at risk at De La Rue, which is the current passport provider.
Mr Corbyn said: “It seems her red, white and blue Brexit has become the blue, white and red of the flag of France. Time after time, the Tories sell off British assets and jobs.”
