TOURISTS panic as an elephant pokes its trunk and tusks into their 4x4 and nearly tips it over.

Sergey Savvi, who took the photos at Yala National Park in Sri Lanka, said: “The elephant was screaming like mad and shaking the jeep easily.”

He said that when the 4x4 escaped it was chased briefly by the animal. Sergey, 37, added nobody was hurt.
