Blue in the face over Tory idiocy

British passports can be burgundy, blue or rainbow-striped as far as I am concerned.

Because the argument about the British government handing the contract to make our passports to a French firm has nothing to do with nationalism. And it’s not about Brexit tub-thumping either, as our EU neighbours Germany, France, Spain and Italy all make their passports domestically.

What it has everything to do with is supporting British workers and showing pride in what we do well.

And if our government won’t do that, then shame on them.
