BLUES PLOT A SHAKH-UP

- BY JOHN CROSS

EVERTON are planning a summer revolution – without mnager Sam Allardyce.

Big Sam is under increasing pressure at Goodison Park, with the Blues eyeing Shakhtar Donetsk’s Paulo Fonseca as a possible replacement.

Allardyce has guided the Merseyside club to safety but fans have not warmed to him. Blues are looking to bring in PSV Eindhoven transfer guru Marcel Brands to shake up the squad this summer – and that leaves Steve Walsh’s position as director of football under threat.

Brands, once on Chelsea’s radar as a successor for Michael Emenalo, has a big reputation in Holland for unearthing talent.
