Corbyn ally calls for ‘political education’ on anti-Semitism
A KEY Jeremy Corbyn ally admitted Jews had lost faith in Labour.
Rebecca Long-Bailey demanded “political education” for all members as the party leader battled claims he had shielded supporters with anti-Semitic views.
Following a protest outside Parliament on Monday, the Shadow Business Secretary said yesterday: “It was devasBATTLE Pressure on Corbyn tating for every single Labour MP to realise the Jewish community had lost faith in our approach to anti-Semitism.” Mr Corbyn had said he was “sincerely sorry for the pain caused” but Jewish community leaders said yesterday: “Almost three years into his leadership words are no longer enough – now we need action.” Former Foreign Secretary David Miliband blasted the leadership for bringing the party into “gross disrepute”.
