PREM PAIR GET REAL OVER ISCO

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

ISCO has put Manchester City and Chelsea on alert by suggesting he is unhappy at Real Madrid.

City are long-term admirers of the Spain playmaker, while Chelsea are also monitoring his situation.

The 25-year-old (left) has failed to nail down a regular starting spot in the Madrid side, but scored a hat-trick in Spain’s 6-1 friendly hammering of Argentina on Tuesday.

He said: “In Madrid I don’t have the confidence a player needs. The matches with the national team give me life. Here I have the confidence of the coach (Julen Lopetegui).

“Maybe I’m the problem in Madrid. I don’t know how to win (manager) Zinedine Zidane’s confidence.”
