Live grenade sold at shop

A COLLECTOR bought a First World War grenade from an antique shop, only to later realise it was live.

An Army bomb squad was called in to blow up the device at Wisbech, Cambs, on Tuesday.

Police said: “It was sold and bought assuming it was decommissioned.”
