Dad ran over toddler son

A MAN accidentally ran over and killed his toddler son outside his chip shop, an inquest heard.

Stelios Karsas reversed over Stelios Jnr, 19 months, on December 21 last year.

Passers-by tried to save him but Shropshire coroner’s court heard he died at the scene in Minsterley, from severe brain injuries.

Carer Simon Jones, who tried to help, said: “I’m so sorry I couldn’t do more.”

Coroner John Ellery concluded Stelios died in a road traffic collision.
