Digital Monday, disc Monday A demented homage to early 1980s video nasties, this slasher revenge thriller is the sort I’d have rented from the off licence despite being under age, and sneakily watched when my parents were out.

Jenna Kanell and Catherine Corcoran are the young women in Halloween fancy dress stalked by the maniacal Art the Clown. It’s a cackling sadistic bloodfest of fear and gore which doesn’t waste time and tries to extract as much value from its low budget as possible. Not for the squeamish or those afraid of scalpels or hacksaws.
