3pm BARNSLEY boss Jose Morais has denied that a players’ rebellion is underway with the Tykes facing relegation.

The Portuguese was excluded when the squad held a crisis meeting to discuss their plight with only goal difference keeping them above the drop zone.

And he said: “The players have had a meeting and I am happy as it shows they care about each other and the club.

“It shows they want something and want to change the way things are going.”
