HECK’S JACK THE LAD

PAUL HECKINGBOTTOM is ready to unveil the latest prospect to roll off the Leeds production line.

Winger Jack Clarke, 17, is set for his Championship debut at home to Bolton today as Heckingbottom plans for next season. The Whites boss said: ”It is possibly Jack’s time to see some first-team action. He’s a lad who has done well for a long time.”

Clarke has made a series of dazzling displays for the under-23s and is regarded as the best young prospect to emerge at Elland Road since Lewis Cook, who made his England debut this week.
