TRANS lottery winner Melissa Ede is splashing out her £4million fortune... on charity shop bargains.

The former cabbie is determined to watch the pennies after striking it rich and aims to double her fortune in a year.

She said: “I love charity shops and go at least once a week. My best buy was a Clarice Cliff bowl for 20p. It was worth £700 before I dropped it.”

Melissa, 57, of Hull, has invested £3million on the stock market and wants to launch a retail empire. But it’s an unusual business model, based on her online videos of unusual items hanging from her chest, including mayonnaise jars.

She said: “I want my own Melissa Ede brand. There’s a call for pics of me with stuff dangling from my boobs.”

Mel’s move to a £440,000 house with fiancee Rachel Nason and her five kids was halted after residents in Cottingham, near Hull, objected to the scratchcard winner. Now she has put in a secret offer on another home.

And she still plays the Lotto and EuroMillions.

She joked: “We all get bored of planning holidays and buying houses. It’s a bit of excitement.”
