Bravery gong of shot man
A MAN shot dead in the street once received a bravery award, police say.
Abraham Badru, 26, intervened in a sex attack on a teen girl in 2009.
His involvement is part of the murder probe. No arrests have been made.
The churchgoer was gunned down in Hackney, East London, after getting out of his Mercedes.
A family statement said: “Abraham was a very brave young man. He was bold and strong enough to do the right thing.”
