JAMES THE VAMP SLAYER

-

TOP FAN Ed TOP DOG George The Vamps could be landed with an expensive insurance premium as they go on tour.

Lead singer Brad Simpson smashed his face open at a previous gig after colliding with guitarist James McVey, 23, on stage at London’s Hyde Park. “I ran down a big ramp and hit my face on our James’ shoulder,” he tells 3am. “I’d popped my nose open. I had blood all down my face. I’ve sued him,” he jokes.

Luckily for their finance team, the boys have got pretty cheap taste. “Our rider is so boring we got houmous taken off because that had too much flavour,” continues Brad, 22.

“Now we just have a few sweets, some yogurt and manuka honey, which is actually so pricey it’s mad. I’ll have to speak to someone about taking that off.”
